Quality Inspector (Former Employee) says

"They have no care for hard workers that have family problems but higher and keep junkies that fall asleep amd miss work all the time. The managers find certain people to watch and mess with rules do not apply the same across the board"

Plater (Former Employee) says

"Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else !!! Cons: Everything"

Production Worker (Former Employee) says

"Employees always fear being called to HR because they think they are going to get fired. Management overrides Quality on a regular basis. This leads to returns, reworks, bad relations with customers, and loss of customers. Management forces employees to work overtime under threat of termination. They are so deep into their pride they would rather force more overtime instead of fixing the problem that caused the need for said overtime. You cannot go to HR for help. You will get labeled as a rat and you cannot trust there won't be consequences from lower management. You work really hard for little money and no appreciation. Cons: Everything"

Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Former Employee) says

"Most employees feel that they can be fired at any time. Management overrides QA on a regular basis. This leads to returns, to be reworked. Management forces employees to work overtime; under threat of termination; instead of fixing the problem that caused the need for overtime. Management is not held accountable for false claims made against employees in their reviews. Hours can, and will be changed on a whim, without regard for how this will impact the employee. Cons: only 10 min. breaks. Very hot in the summer."

Production Associate/Material Handler (Current Employee) says

Level II Plater (Former Employee) says

"The work that is required compared to monetary compensation is deplorable. Management has no idea how to deal with people, coworkers, some were great some horrific, manually lifting in less than safe conditions Cons: expensive healthcare"

QAI/Quality Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"Back stabbing and undermining. No direction given and then reprimanded when you can’t read minds. Terrible place to work unless you’re two faced and don’t mind faking it through your job just to get fired."

Production Worker (Former Employee) says

"Working on the production floor is thankless and management does not treat people well. Feel looked down on, and they have no idea how things actually work. Always chaotic and seem like they are putting out fires and not being proactive, and talk to workers very disrespectfully (mid-level managers are great, but upper management is terrible). You cannot go to HR for help, because cannot trust there won't be consequences, and it would not do any good anyway. You work really hard for little money and no appreciation. Cons: Management and HR"

Plater (Current Employee) says

"If you want to get into the metal finishing industry and get experience, then this is the company for you. Beyond that, this is not a place you want to stay. Management sucks. Would not recommend any experienced plater to work here. Cons: Bad management, too much BS and drama"

plater level 3/ line supervisor (Former Employee) says

"I learned how to apply different finishes to a variety of metal substrates. Team building skills. How to work through difficult situations. Cause and effect of different chemical processes.Being able to see and feel satisfied with a job well done"

UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and Freight (Former Employee) says

"Management pushes their responsibilities off to their subordinates. Cons: see review"

Production Assistant in the platemaking process (Former Employee) says

"work environment temperatures were harsh due to heated chemical tanks. there was dirt and grime in most places and chemical build up on floor and other places. co-workers are competitive and stressful at times also strict but humorous sometimes. the hardest parts were trying to get work done in time and much hard manual labor of using heavy parts the best days is when management would hand out refreshments and water filled headbands to help workers better deal with extreme heat Cons: short breaks, chaotic management, dangerous fumes in the air during work"

FULL TIME EMPLOYEE (Former Employee) says

"This company is all about showing employee appreciation but behind the scenes they play favorites. They appear to be weeding out older employees who have been there a while. Finding reasons to get them out the door. Employees who have had repeated good job reviews. Management changed from family owned to one individual. Atmosphere and fairness changed as well. If you work there it's all about where you work and who your manager is. So for some it's a good place to work at least for a while. For others it is frustrating due to lack of fairness. There is so much potential there and the markets they serve are solid. Employee turn over is extremely high. Benefits are decent and there is potential for bonuses. There are occasional free luncheons. Cons: Gossip, Favoritism, Mis-management"

Quality Engineer (Former Employee) says

"Quality gets beat up a lot by the customers, an excessive amount. The people are nice. Seemed like there was not enough time in a day to get all the work that needed to be done."

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"Great place if you are an engineer. You'll be highly regarded. Benefits and bonuses are good for all. Much favoritism and poor management makes for a lot of frustration and uncertainly even though you do a good job. Advancement opportunities and investment in younger employees. Cons: Short breaks, favoritism, management often knows less than employees"

Plater (Former Employee) says

"Good place to work and learn bad chemicals some that cause cancer good pay at risk to your health don’t plan on living till retirement with all the chemicals your body is introduced too Cons: Death"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Anoplate full-time Cons: Not well run by upper level management. HR plays favorites and partakes in activities that do not seem fair or consistent to all who work there ~ different rules apply to different people, and no one seems to be looking out for the employee's interests. I never had issues with this personally, but saw it happen to a lot of good workers. There is a lot of disrespect from upper management towards production employees. A lot of good people have left for better companies and opportunities due to dissatisfaction and lack of team environment. Nothing is ever good enough at this company, unless you are one of management's "pets"."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Anoplate full-time Cons: Multiple degrees and areas of favoritism. New employees valued and focused on more so than more experienced workers. Little if any investments made in older employees. More opportunities given to employees from certain departments or who have certain managers. Witnessed good solid workers leave due to culture, employees lives made difficult until they left or circumstances packaged in such a way it would appear that letting them go was justified."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Anoplate full-time Cons: Pay rate and promotion opportunities are very diverse between job titles."

"I worked at Anoplate for less than a year Cons: takes consistent efforts to find what you need"
